Vietnam Post adjusts rates for some post and delivery services

Accordingly, the rates of E-commerce delivery services is adjusted down 100 VND - 1,300 VND/postal or more depending on different sending address and actual volume of the postal items. Postal items using express delivery service (EMS Finance and Banking) are also applied with new same reduction as mentioned above for all 3 Standard, Silver and Gold service packages. In addition, Vietnam Post also adjusted the rate of supermarket delivery service to 49,100 VND/delivery point from 50,000 VND/ delivery point as announced earlier.

This adjustment aims at implementing the Government's policy and changing to suit the real condition affected by COVID. For e-commerce customers with big volume or regularly sending goods with big weight, this new rate helps saving shipping costs.

The new rate is calculated as a ful package, including delivery fee, fuel surcharge, remote area surcharge and value added tax (VAT). Additional incentives such as free collection service fee, inner city return service fee, storage fee for 5 days, delivery fee at addressees (maximum 2 times), delivery notice fee on My Vietnam mobile app for ecommerce delivery services are still applied as normal.

This rate announcement will be applied until the new rate decision is issued.
