Vietnam Post actively supports SMEs in digital transformation

The goal of this cooperation in implementing the "Supporting program for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in digital transformation" (SMEdx) through supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to experience and use the E-commerce platform Postmart, developed by Vietnam Post. Through this platform, SMEs can participate in the digital transformation program, improve their capacity and efficiency in production and business activities, create competitive advantages and create their new values.
The Department of Business Management will organize an assessment of technology and techniques such as: functionality of the platform, technology, applied techniques, ability to meet user requirements, safety and security and non-required and other functions. At the same time, the Department also evaluates the platform's ability to meet the needs of business digital transformation and the potential of the platform such as: ability to serve a large number of customers, market acceptance, number of customers, existing users, capacity of the business, preferential policies, support, after-sales services, commitment of the business to this supporting program and other related requirements.
In addition, the Department of Business Management will also publish information and recommend SMEs to use the Digital Platform to meet the requirements of Vietnam Post.
Vietnam Post is committed to achieving its "SMEs using service" quarterly index in accordance with the type of platform's operation and actual conditions. In 2022, Vietnam Post targets to have more than 19.4 million small and medium enterprises piloting in Postmart e-commerce platform, in which active users is supposed to reach 10 million.

In order to effectively implement the Digital Transformation supporting program for SMEs, Vietnam Post appoints a focal point to receive requests and complaints from SMEs and at the same time, prepares technical connection conditions to accept the requirements of enterprises registering to participate in the program automatically and quickly.
In addition, Vietnam Post also arranges human resources and appropriate budget to participate in this supporting program to implement communication programs or other promotional activities, ready to provide user manuals for the platform, provide consultancy/training for SMEs in digital transformation and use their digital platform for digital transformation.
In particular, Vietnam Post is also ready to coordinate with other platforms for SMEdx programs to build the most convenient combo packages, to optimize for the comprehensive digital transformation for businesses without e-commerce platform or digital transformation solutions.
In addition, Vietnam Post also supports consulting, training, technology transfering, and guiding the use of digital platforms for SMEs participating in this Program.
Especially, SMEs registering to use Postmart platform through the SMEdx Portal from 0:00 April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023 will be supported by Vietnam Post with special offers: free of charge order processing, supporting consumption of agricultural products, free training courses, consulting, sharing experience to use the platform.
To make the program realistic and effective, the Department of Business Management and Vietnam Post will conduct frequent evaluations to review results of implementation as agreed by both parties to make suitable adjustment.
