Vietnam Post optimizes transportation costs with new Supermarket Delivery Service

Supermarket delivery is a service of sorting in order of goods delivery, waiting to deliver goods to the addresses as stores of supermarkets and shops, delivering upon the request of customers at their stores. This service is designed for customers, who are businesses, individuals, households providing goods for large supermarket systems such as BigC, Lotte Mart, Vinmart,... and convenient stores and distribution agents.

Basing on the customer needs, postal workers will advise and guide customers to use suitable goods delivery services together with this supermarket delivery service and calculate the corresponding service charges. Customers can request for delivery of goods at one or more different supermarkets and stores at the service fee of VND 50,000 per delivery point.

When using the service, in addition to documents such as invoices, orders, detailed lists of goods, warehousing /delivery bills enclosed with postal items/postal package, customers should note to provide lists of supermarket, time of receiving goods of supermarkets and stores, contact information for delivery of goods and for solving problems from senders in case of delivery failure due to outside factors.
