Vietnam Post innovates to make breakthroughs in all postal fields

Overview of the meeting

Reporting at the meeting, Executive Vice President Nguyen Kien Cuong informed outstanding results of Vietnam Post in the first quarter of business plan implementation in 2021 - 2025 and in the whole period of 2021 - 2030. From the results of providing services, implementing big projects to the training and development of business plans for quality and efficiency targets, especially the re-organization of business and production under a new model. After 6 training courses, all subsidiaries have developed and implemented the plan to innovate production organization by optimizing efficiency, improving productivity and quality, and creating breakthrough income for all employees in 2021. The innovation of production organization will also be associated with customer and market needs in each area. IT will be also applied on the whole network for all production stages to operate, manage, increase productivity and save costs. In addition, the production organization will also be done synchronously at all 3 levels: provinces, districts and communes.

Reminding all subsidiaries of implementing business plan, Chairman Nguyen Hai Thanh required them to drastically take solutions to implement the important tasks in the second quarter and the coming time, especially, e-commerce services in Viet Nam were big potential and the market size was still large, Vietnam Post made many important decisions to create breakthroughs in providing e-commerce service, creating a new impulse to promote strong growth.
The Chairman also emphasized that the business target by 2025, revenue would increase by 3.5 times, the profit and income of employees by 2.5 times compared to 2020 and to achieve this goals, Vietnam Post and all employees would make new ways compared to the past. Subsidiaries would effectively implement the production organization plan; implement digital transformation, focus on using platforms already developed such as Vmap, Vpostcode, Postmart.vn ...

Noting the efforts of all subsidiaries in the first quarter of 2021, President and CEO Chu Quang Hao requested the whole corporation to make more efforts for a drastic change to make new breakthroughs right from the second quarter of 2021.

Emphasizing on drastic actions to promote production and business activities in the coming time, Mr. Hao directed all subsidiaries to make a radical change in all fields and all stages. Director of each subsidiary must change the mindset and pioneer in actions. Mr. Hao also reminded the corporation focused on training young staffs with enough experience, enthusiasm and determination from head quarter to each subsidiary. In addition, in the coming time, Vietnam Post also strongly implemented the rotation of employees to innovate ways of thinking and train officers in the new environment, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of each business unit.

Also in the morning April 14, at Vietnam Post headquarter, Vietnam Post was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Public Security for outstanding achievements in national security protection in 2020. Vietnam Post Logistics Company and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nga, Deputy Director of Logistics Company were also awarded with the certificates of merit by the Internal Political Security Department (Ministry of Public Security) for their outstanding achievements in the national security protection in 2020.
