According to current regulations in Article 83, Decree 08/2015/ND-CP, goods owners deposite in bonded warehouses directly perform or authorize bonded warehouse owners or customs clearance agents to perform a number of customs clearance procedures and conduct some following services for goods deposited in bonded warehouses:

- Reinforcing, sorting, packing, bundling, classifying goods, preserving goods

- Taking samples of goods for controlling or customs clearance purposes

- Transferring ownership of goods to the goods owner according to the provisions of law

- Particularly for special-use bonded warehouses containing chemicals and petroleum, if meeting requirements of  customs agencies and relevant authorities to mix and change types of goods.
