The E-Portal supporting agricultural production will become “the e-handbook"
helps farmers confidently do business on the e-commerce floor

Moreover, the Portal 1034 also provides update information to support answers for questions of agricultural production households in the business process as well as update the latest data and the implementation of the plan to support agricultural production households to participate in activities of the ecommerce floor.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Vice Minister of the MIC highly appreciated the effort of units, including Vietnam Post with the Postmart.vn to strengthen the agricultural consumption for farmers as well as bring agricultural production households on the ecommerce floor.

“Currently, the field of e-commerce in which Post is the core is creating heat and attracting the attention of many people, opening up a new postal delivery market towards farmers. The Departments of Information and Communications need to closely coordinate with the main postal enterprises of the State, closely follow the Plan 1034 to focus on bringing farmers on the floor with all the criteria from the identified account, digital addresses to electronic payment accounts, creating a premise for farmers to do business in the e-commerce environment.

The cooperation with stated enterprises is very important to control and protect national data” emphasized Vice Minister Pham Anh Tuan.

Vice Minister Pham Anh Tuan suggests Departments of Information and Communications
to cooperate with state-owned postal enterprises to help effectively farmers access e-commerce floors

After more than 3 months of implementing the Plan 1034 of the MIC, two Vietnamese e-commerce floors, including Postmart.vn have not only helped farmers across the country overcome difficulties caused by the influence affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, but also became a bridge to bring farmers closer to consumers nationwide, creating a reputation and brand for domestic products. Up to now, more than 3.1 million accounts have been opened on 2 e-commerce floors and supported the consumption of more than 30,000 tons of all kinds of agricultural products across the country.

The above positive results are also a premise for Vietnamese agricultural products and specialties to improve competitiveness and promote products to the international market.

The launch of the portal 1034 to support agricultural production on the e-commerce floor is considered as a practical activity in supporting agricultural production households to develop sustainably, improve the capacity for farmers to access digital transformation in agriculture led by the MIC.

The Postmart.vn of Vietnam Post has supported agricultural production households
to consume thousands of tons of agricultural products in the whole country in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic

This is also an opportunity to change the small production model, which lacks value chain linkages, and replace it with a transparent agriculture with data and information to help Vietnamese agriculture reach out and be more responsible for consumers.

Accompanying farmers and improving Vietnamese agricultural products, Vietnam Post has focused on investing and upgrading support tools on the e-commerce floor, including tools of sales support, thereby helping agricultural production households, cooperatives and farmers have the easiest business method to increase product volume, consumption, and improve revenue and profit. Postmart.vn not only created output for products during the pandemic, but also created a new domestic and international trade channel in the digital technology era.
